4. full flame: i.e., full flame of love.

5. reckoning: (1) considering (2) counting.   million'd: multiplied by millions.

6. Creep in 'twixt vows:i.e., creep in between the making of a vow and the keeping of that vow.

7. Tan: darken.

8. Divert strong minds to th' course of alt'ring things: i.e., divert strong minds from their intended courses and make them dance to the ever-changing tune of the time.

10. might: could.

11. certain o'er incertainty: i.e., certain of the power of time's uncertainty.

13. then: therefore.   say so: rightly say.

14. give: ascribe.
