3. despite of space: despite the distance.

4. limits far remote: the farthest possible distances. where: to the place where.

6. the farthest earth removed from thee: the place on the earth that is the farthest away from you.

7. nimble: agile.

8. he: it (i.e., "nimble thought")

11. wrought: worked; i.e., made it so that

12. my moan: sound of sorrow.

13. nought: nothing. elements so slow: i.e., the "earth and water" of line 11. —Fire and air are the quick elements.

14. heavy tears, badges of either's woe: emblems of the woe of both elements, earth and water. —Like tears, earth is heavy (sad), and like tears, water is wet and salty.
