Act 2, Scene 3, line 62.

Note to Twelfth Night, 2.3.62, "some dogs will catch well"

The Clown, because he is a professional fool, likes to put a little twist in what he says. Sir Andrew says he is "dog at a catch"; the Clown turns this into something that looks obvious: "some dogs will catch well." Of course some dogs will catch (game) well, so what's the twist? Well, some dogs will, and some won't, and maybe Sir Andrew is one of those who won't. And maybe Sir Andrew really is a dog, who would do better at running after rabbits than trying to sing.
