orchard: garden. —As we learn at the end of Benedick's long speech, this garden has an arbor, where Benedick hides and listens in on the conversation of Don Pedro, Leonato, and Claudio. As for the boy and the book, we never hear of them again, so it seems that the point of the conversation with the boy is that Benedick is in a garden.
