Note to Much Ado About Nothing, Act 5, Scene 1, lines 225-226: "there's one meaning well suited"

to
Much Ado About Nothing,
Act 5, Scene 1, line 225.
In six different ways, Dogberry has said that Borachio and Conrade are liars. In response, Don Pedro asks what the actual charges are in four different ways. Therefore, Claudio's jest could be that: 1) Don Pedro's response to Dogberry is well-suited to what Dogberry has said because both have put different suits (clothes) on one meaning; 2), OR the "one meaning" which has appeared in different suits (clothes) is that Dogberry is a complete fool.
