Macbeth: Act 5, Scene 6




          Drum and colours. Enter MALCOLM, SIWARD,
          MACDUFF, and their army, with boughs.

       MALCOLM
  1    Now near enough; your leafy screens throw down.
2. show like those you are: appear as you really are. worthy uncle: i.e., Siward.
  2    And show like those you are. You, worthy uncle,
  3    Shall, with my cousin, your right noble son,
4. battle: battalion.
  4    Lead our first battle. Worthy Macduff and we
  5    Shall take upon 's what else remains to do,
6. order: battle order; plan of attack.
  6    According to our order.

       SIWARD
                                           Fare you well.
7. power: army.
  7    Do we but find the tyrant's power tonight,
  8    Let us be beaten, if we cannot fight.

       MACDUFF
  9    Make all our trumpets speak; give them all breath,
 10    Those clamorous harbingers of blood and death.

Alarums continued: i.e., the trumpets are heard even after everyone has left the stage.
          Exeunt. Alarums continued.
