127‑28. We should hold day with the Antipodes, / If you would walk in absence of the sun: i.e., if you, Portia, like a second sun, always walked at night (when it is day on the other side of the world), we would have day even when the Antipodes, those who dwell on the opposite side of the globe, enjoy daylight.
